Another smile!

Another smile!

Wind came and flew by me

asked me if I wanted to fly

I knew I did but I also knew

I had not wings to fly with her

water made waves and filled me

with awe and asked if I needed some

as my soul he knew was hurting

I remained silent I had nothing to say

a little sparrow sat by me pecking at my ring

she said she wanted my bright stones

I permitted her to dig out as many as she could

she tried and tried but fell down of fatigue

one large plank passed by me floating on waters

looked in my direction and shouted

“hey, there, want to ride on me to other shores?”

I wanted but I knew I had not the passport

a white cloud flew and rested above my head

wanted to know if he could stay longer

I thanked and told him to follow his own destiny

he smiled, waved goodbye and was gone

one pen filled with ink blue and red

sat near my fingers for ages

today needed to know if it could write

I picked and it drew on paper some syllables

my little plant from near my table looks up

sends out flavours my way

I savour with my eyes closed

a sweet smile pasted on my lips till eternity!

love!

love is a sweet emotion
resides in every heart
from the moment it casts its eye
on its object or a subject?

Love is the basic emotion
surpasses all
encompasses all
rises from the core of a heart

love is the ultimate promise
to be given
unspoken or unheard
or shouted from rooftops

love is an open secret
we all love
yet we shun
when confronted

love is hidden
love is spoken
for some
it is forbidden

love is here
love is there
love is in the air
love is everywhere!

salvation!

Salvation!

That moment of salvation
visited me
shown me the path
lit with your light…

your embrace of confidence
of quenched
and ill-quenched thirst
of hunger that devoured
passions of this world
made of hunger
made of thirst.

it rained
it poured
incessantly
with no respite and then
HE shew
to my burning eyes
the large canvas
over huddling forms
and descended on me
that ultimate solace

my restless soul is
nestling now with itself
and it keeps to its bosom
the cause of all the heart burns
of this mortal world.

love incomplete…

incomplete love!

I have a hole in my heart

it cries for flesh to mend itself

it weeps when I touch it

asks me to call my god

asks me to give him love

love that never was mine

love that always passed by

love that seemed so far away

love that seldom saw my tears

love that claimed

and left me alone

to die in anguish

and then to live forever…

Here’s the party tonight!

Here’s the party tonight!

One closed door

some stolen glances

from behind that green curtain

playful knocks on my door

where has gone my door bell’s rope?

Curious eyes dilated at the sight

chirping of little ones

shrill shrieks filled with delight

mouths filled with cake and fries

white cream over all the faces

tumblers of coloured drinks in every hand

giggles and laughters for reasons unknown

feet tapping to the latest tunes

long hair swooning with swirling skirts

shiny jackets and gelled pointed hair

little gentlemen and pink white fairies

do I see future or have I reached past?

Every eye I look into resembles mine

every hand that shake mine is warm enough

every smile I return comes back with laughter

oh! what a bliss to be here

I forget me I forget my chores

I forget to bring a gift

but I get one in return

I am carrying so many hearts

my own has become one big huge bag!

silver line!

A silver line!

An iota of love

a pristine flavour

one little angel

one ray of hope

one single rhyme

one letter says all

one single gesture

universe in an eye

another cloud

a silver line

one more flight

in ruthless sky

a bird in nest

warming an egg

an arrow through

an aching heart

a straight path

felt apart

a gala gait

went astray.
