valentine day

valentine day

when you touch me with these

feathers you hold in your hand

I shiver I long for more

I ask for deliverance from myself

I rise to your unspoken whispers

I run through my veins

I rush to reach that zenith

designed for likes of us

holding on to each other

we climb one step at a time

with your pace entwined in mine

I know the day we need to call ours

is just before this horizon

we shall reach through the skies

to hold hands for one time, our time.

spring

spring

enclosed in your warmth
surrounded with your fragrance
I passed through this cold
to achieve spring in no time
fall went with a swish of my will
fell on deaf ears
as we walked hand in hand
on dried leaves
their rustle musing within this forest
as we carried snow within us
to let it fall down steep corners
it melt and merged in us
now it gushes through our valley
with all it had been carrying
since the day we arrived
on this blessed land…

river.

river…

I flow with the time

my feet walk past me

tick tack echoes, air thickens

making pace with time’s clock

I flow with my waters

gurgling,cascading, falling

taking with me, time’s bounties

gems of bygone ages

sparkling, scintillating, cutting

bifurcating skies…

earth moves underneath my feet

keeps me grounded

as I kneed time with tentative hours

held captive by days

I search for leftover seconds

in washed and dried dishes

I rush to reach twilight

before it arrives at my horizon

I fight the urge to sip my ocean

as my destiny beckons…

my void.

my void.

a voice rise within me

to hold your hand to walk beside

to shun sunlight

to bathe in moon

to fly away from universe

a voice speaks within me

to cherish this void

with you inside

I move myself with gushing sounds

that fill my ears

when you pass by

rustle of your body

footsteps echoing through thin air

I sit back with eyes closed…

as crow flies.

as crow flies..

morning chirps in my ears music that belong to you…
I open my eyes to inhale ..
And I feel you with my eyelashes
my void yawns .. stretches arms
I hold myself in your arms
listen to your soft whispers
I climb that cloud to chart unknown territories
I begin my flight with the crow as it flies higher…
as I set a tent on one shore of this burgeoning river…

treading its path parallel to both shores…
I throw myself to its charms…
I embrace arms closed around me..
roaring with huge tremors …
I fall into my ocean…

Wall.

wall.

walls when created leave nothing undone

mortar, bricks, stones, wood, steel, iron

never fall short of anything that can disrupt the vision

first the foundation filled with stones of trust

and then as the heavens too wanted it

skies opened in full force

more of earth more of grit went into it

when they laid the first line it was pitch dark

hands shaking with sheer pleasure

of waking earth to their beckoning

they remain united till the wall was erect

and after it became it parted in two
