two words…
a thank you and one sorry
mere words or real emotions
I ask thee and you look at me
I imbibe your vacant hollow space
this still air sits heavy on my soul
my heart longs to reach out to you
my every single pore needs to vibrate with you
my singular silent prayers fall on morning dew
this very same air evades my outstretched arms
and begins to shower in this morning dew
fully undressed, uninhibited, unashamed
they run with embroidered shawl
they try to cover her up
they try to seal the sky over her head
she throws away her hair
and the droplets pierce the shawl
unabashed they try to cover her four corners
she blows hard with full force of her lungs
they all fall down and shawl is hung
the beautiful embroidered shawl
hung from the well of her being
adding more beauty to her naked charms
intoxicated they all look up at her
no longer do they feel the need to cover her up
again I say just two words
a thank you and one sorry!
Mere two words or a chain of emotions…

Pritpal…
Though very commonly used .. but Thank You and Sorry have now become integral part of any relation… now a days..
true.. but these carry weight only when said with appropriate emotions embedded. and some relationships do not even need such formalities.
Beautifully worded and elequently expressed. You are so right Prit.Sorry and Thank you could be so hallow and yet so deep if embedded with appropiate emotions..Some dont even need these..One look or prolonged silence says it all….
