my ocean.

do we know the world we live in

or we just turn a blind eye

when I try to fathom the depth I can dig

I reach where none has ventured before

I spread one single gesture across lands unforeseen

I close my eyes and see the bottom

blossoming into corals of beating hearts

I dig more and my fist comes back to me

filled with ocean’s bounties only I know of

I dig deeper and I see lives in all colours

roaming freely around

I lie down with my bosom heaving

closing on to my own self

presented to me on a platter

I share myself with you

and find to my utter surprise

there is nothing surprising to it…
