I belong to you.
the moment I happen to be in your presence
I bow to you
I celebrate every moment of being with you
I stand in front of you
I admire your majestic beauty
your magnificent view takes my breath away
your sandy shores beckon me to sit on it
savour that hide and seek of lights filtering through clouds
your deafening roars make me fall in love with you anew
your emotional trips riding high
and falling low make me swoon within me
your currents carrying lifetimes of forgotten
yet sung for centuries lores make me worship you
you know I can never turn my back towards you
when I move away I keep facing you
I have no heart to let my eyes skip a single glimpse of you
I know you shall be here when I visit next
yet my soul feels a pinch of sadness
for I know you will keep haunting me till I come again
and I kneel at your altar to pray
I might forget to cross my heart when I look at you
yet I know my prayers will be carried where they are intended to
when the whole of humanity at your doorstep looks at you in awe
while all are engrossed in your majestic exotic exuberance
I silently walk inside your heart and claim the best seat ever!

…Hi Dearie … this composition too resonates all those signature premise which we are normally oblivious about but which we seem to have set out to explore together…poet, poetry, reader, review … all trying to work in an unspoken accord…
… be that majestic beauty, lifetimes of forgotten centuries lores, exotic exuberance or many things else …
…can this be that classical longing for being together with that omniscient unknown…no this time that is something more…it is the somberness enshrined in experiencing the magnificence all that which is…
…it also turns out to be the extreme blissfulness in knowing and getting back to essence of your being…back to the nature of nature and the roots…and this acts upon…well both the initiated and the uninitiated…
…incidentally I could come across my Dad’s scrape book…essentially a pocket diary from the year 1965 that carried his jottings…it said ‘…when I get to meet thee how shall I greet thee…with folded hands silence and tears…’
…probably in that kind of innate bonding lay the cue that liberates us from all bondage…
…thnx Pritts for making us a witness to your offerings and more …
