Fast lane!
Past that was
sleep walked into present
sat on passenger seat looking ahead
future took it along
driving in fast lane
lamp posts left behind
twinkled with lightening speed
rain drops falling incessantly on wind screen
encountered wipers caressing smoothly
honks of impatient wails
wept through the night’s halt
hunger of vacant souls went astray
lanes lost track and collided amongst each other
here they see a heap of pasts
one up turned, two on their sides
another one dangling down the valley
one more passed brushing by its side
it dangled more but managed its post
lamp posts stopped now to have one close look
examined the damage
calculated casualty
inquiry was ordered
deadlines were met
past smiled again, present wept
once again future sat on the driving seat
and here they go through fast lane!

…time check 01:19 AM …I have just finished reading these splendid verse…and this forces you to exclaim MIND BLOWING…I am delighted for having experienced totally a new warmth of the caress…’rain drops falling incessantly on wind screen…encountered wipers caressing smoothly…’ this is a real romanticist is getting brilliant with her kind of nuances …
…we all sit daily inside a car but never saw the past sitting besides us …Wonderful …howsoever be that a sleep walk but we know that it is in an indispensable bonding with the present fraught with the links to the future…
…true when the present gets into the mould of the past … it becomes just another story to narrate…but the present can often get to tough to bear…but even with all this load future is ever so willing to drive us through the fast lane with interwoven twisted tracks of me and you…sometimes painful but at other ever so satisfying and tasteful…nonetheless we cannot help not being on the fast lane … that’s life after all…where everybody needs to bear with everybody else…recipe for a coordinated togetherness while journeying around …EXCELLENT PRITTS 🙂
…I would love to read this over and over again …
‘a real romanticist is getting brilliant’…here ‘is’ has creeped in inadvertently
