Expensive thought!
One laughter today
one sweet deep laughter today
echoed in my ears
passed through my restless soul
sat inside and turned pale
leafless trees shuffled their fruit
in unison they all evoke
hunger born of loot
deprivation of centuries
collected by full stomachs, filled lands
fouls mouths, motionless hands
an eagle dares and spread its wings
one lotus blooms air fills with perfume
a bigger smile smears some more faces
one unit of love passes through those hands
one piece of peace kicks up emotions
they are not so greedy
they know not bountiful
they ask for some little and they relish even less
they make me ashamed
when I sit and rejoice my solitude
for price I pay for their quite
is just a few nickels
and my enclosure is awkwardly expensive…
