Did I know?
Did I know you could change my word
you could change the way I perceive
I who scorned at the slightest of wavering from track
will forget to breathe on time myself
I who had come to shun trust
will walk besides you with blindfolded eyes
I who never looked back
will learn to cherish moments forgotten
weave designs intricate and share with all and mighty
I who spoke little till shaken by life to its extremities
will learn to utter my deepest fears at the mere sight of any provocation
I who woke up each morning with my bosom filled with vacuum
will begin to smell jasmines in my own deep chambers
I who saw nights as black blank blankets
will learn to feast my eyes at the sights of auras of angles
I who saw sky simply as a blue sheet stretched across two horizons
will learn to paint rainbows with my very own eyes
I who had stopped midway on the path to my destiny
will learn to trace my footsteps and traverse on it once again
I who had turned a miser and held sentiments enslaved
will learn to throw myself to winds and splurge in emotions
I who had been wandering aimlessly trying to keep afloat with clumsy artless reflexes
will learn to swim across the channels of my inner oceans
with the grace of an ace swimmer
I who had not known one day I will be blessed with love you sent my way
has never felt afore elated to esteems beyond all comprehensions.

…Dear Pritts…what a defining moment in a relationship…that trying times of mistrust and distrust all get over reaching out to new and intense bonding…that now we may hear our heart beats all blindfolded … where once trust receded.
…with that kind of realignment who would not smell the jasmine and see colors not normally obvious in the rainbow … reason enough to get elated …
yet another arrangement of beautiful expression that lingers on with its sweetness of a happy end … who would not wish a happy end to everything…Dear Pritts love all that…’acclaim your verve in doing this creativity … !!!
thanks very much.. Prateek to undesrstand the essence of this piece.
