a smile!
Wind came and flew by me
asked me if I wanted to fly
I knew I did but I also knew
I had not wings to fly with her
water made waves and filled me
with awe and asked if I needed some
as my soul he knew was hurting
I remained silent I had nothing to say
a little sparrow sat by me pecking at my ring
she said she wanted my bright stones
I permitted her to dig out as many as she could
she tried and tried but fell down of fatigue
one large plank passed by me floating on waters
looked in my direction and shouted
“hey, there, want to ride on me to other shores?”
I wanted but I knew I had not the passport
a white cloud flew and rested above my head
wanted to know if he could stay longer
I thanked and told him to follow his own destiny
he smiled, waved goodbye and was gone
one pen filled with ink blue and red
sat near my fingers for ages
today needed to know if it could write
I picked and it drew on paper some syllables
my little plant from near my table looks up
sends out fragrances my way
I savour with my eyes closed
a sweet smile pasted on my lips till eternity!

one more beautiful poem….flew and rested above my head
wanted to know if I could read it again and again
I assured and told it to read many times for my own sake…..
Thnxxx Pritpal… For This wonderful .. Lovely Poem…
…definitely one of your best Dear Pritts…did I say this about your earlier poetry too…yes I know I did…you are getting too good with each new post…
…personification of the seemingly inanimate objects around which we often take as not living but all these astound us when we get to know more about them…that they too have their own stretch of life in their very own typical way…and paradoxically this we get to know only when focus deeper within our own selves…
…that smile of the cloud appeared so ironic that one would actually wish that somehow he resists his destiny … how so ever be the odds against him and be triumphant in being with you…won’t we ever get a chance to quench our desires…
…but that is true if ouside stimuli doesn’t satiate …we simply need to withdraw ourselves with our eyes closed and this is sure to lead us to extreme contentment … where although we begin to look for the world within…the eternal smile gets pasted on our lips…very nice Pritts…
…listen to ‘…my dream is to fly over the rainbow so high’ that I have posted this song on my wall …
