exclusive time

one moment held captive in my eyes
one breath that I held to soak us
immerse us in togetherness
a single gesture our arms listened to
when we embraced……..
we resonated with universe
we knew we were present
existed within us
irrespective of bondages of years
ages that we might fall short of
we were silent
we did not know words
we were devoid of language
dumb and deaf we sailed through
time that sat silently on our threshold
simmered with us
I knew it was mine wholly
it belonged to us
we were it’s progenitor..
