I want to be reborn…
God let me be born once again
let me be born young like this dramatic ocean
forceful, buoyant, full of zeal
every single drop is nectar to lives living in me
God make me wave after wave of unending love
God put me on the hearth of this boiling froth
let me be lured by it’s magnetic pull
let me live for ages and let me be the ageless
God let me be the one who never tires
let me be the one who forever is on trial
let me be the one who fills all craters created out of love
God let me be the one who was here when no one was
let me be the one who will famish when all will leave for finer abode
God let me be present from horizon to horizon in all four directions
let me rise high while making love with moon
God let me fall back to myself when she hides away behind earth
for earth is my first love for whom I chose to be
earth is my wife who bore me children of humanity
earth is the woman I kissed till eternity
and earth is the sufferer whom I chose not to be faithful
for being here in her arms for all the days when I need her
I relish nights while she sleeps and I spend dark roaring hours with moon
God let me be in this love for centuries to come
for lord this is what you have ordered me to be in
God you made me faithful to love forgiving all my sins
for lives that live out of me know my worth
God make me forever a woman of virtue
O’ God make me an ocean for once when you make me a man!

……..wonderful….but…
with every outgoing breath…we die..and….with every incoming breath…we reborn…life and death are… not two things…they are one….and….each moment..both are present….
Hi Dear Pritts…what a great going forth from the earlier flurry of unsettling questions that brought forth many a disquieting premise exploring all along semblance of some coherent peace … if that could have been found…
…this poetry moves beyond all that … and introduces us to a state where we have atlast resolved to believe in the primeval nature of things along with which we have find ourselves integrated into… the ceaseless and the timeless ETERNITY
… you have beautifully said ‘…let me live for ages and let me be the ageless
God let me be the one who never tires…’ … very true indeed that every thing that started from that single dot of singularity…reason for trillions of galaxy to be…is always moving and therefore in a constant state of flux…then why should we homo sapiens, who don’t have even a miniscule of significance in this godly scheme of things, need to harbor any pain or distress.
…Without getting bogged down by whatever comes our way we feel happily integrated with everything that is there and even that which is not there…a commonality of consciousness running through all of us because the cause of each and everything is the same that single defining moment from where we begun to ‘be’… who knows better than a physicist in you Pritts…
…and I find a poet, woman, physicist, philosopher, a humble person shedding down all self centric egoism all very easily get rolled into one being called Pritts…all because one is just not any different from the other…if we can afford to move beyond the arms length and see mountains in oceans, trees in rocks, life in leaves, humane nature everywhere and unlimited cosmos within …
…thnx dearie for this wonderful poetry through which in the game of lost and found …we seek to ultimately find ourselves… O’ God make me an ocean for once when you make me a man…!
🙂
…will you be saying something… !!!
